Defines FDA-approved anti-obesity medication as any drug approved by the FDA with an indication for chronic weight management in patients with obesity

Prohibits insurers from applying coverage criteria for anti-obesity medications that are more restrictive than FDA-approved indications

Requires obesity treatment coverage to have the same deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and lifetime limits as coverage for any other illness or condition

Applies to individual policies, group/blanket policies, and Medicaid, with insurers required to provide written notice to members about the coverage

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law and applies to policies issued, delivered, renewed, or modified after that date
