Requires every school district to develop career major programs in electric vehicle maintenance and repair for secondary school students and adults in career education programs

Defines "career major" as a course sequence providing technical skills for students not initially college-bound, preparing them for postsecondary degrees, certifications, apprenticeships, military service, or direct career entry

Establishes the Working Group on Electric Vehicle Career Education Achievement under the Public Service Commission within 60 days of the act taking effect

Working group consists of 8 members: 2 from Public Service Commission, 2 from NYSERDA, 2 from the Department of Education, 1 electric vehicle engineering expert, and 1 representative from a state environmental organization

Working group will provide annual recommendations to the Education Commissioner on curriculum, assessments, and criteria for students to earn the EV maintenance and repair career major
