Expands service of process on the Secretary of State to allow personal delivery at either the Albany or New York City office of the Department of State, rather than only Albany

Applies to service of process for corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, not-for-profit corporations, general associations, and various other business entities across multiple areas of New York law

Requires the Secretary of State to authorize appropriate persons at the New York City office to receive service of process

Maintains existing electronic service options and certified mail notification procedures for forwarding process to the served entity

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law
