Requires the Commissioner of Education to establish Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) history and civic impact curriculum aligned with existing social studies learning standards

Curriculum must cover the diaspora history in New York and the Northeast, policies affecting AANHPI communities, contributions to government/arts/sciences, historical harms and discrimination, and solidarity with other marginalized communities during the civil rights movement

Mandates development of professional development training materials for teachers and administrators on curriculum implementation, with annual updates

Requires the commissioner to submit annual reports to the governor, legislature, and education committees detailing school district implementation capacity, number of participating schools and students, teacher engagement with training, and resource needs

Takes effect on the first of July following enactment
