Redefines chiropractic practice to include examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, expanding beyond the previous definition focused primarily on detecting and correcting structural imbalances in the vertebral column

Expands permitted chiropractic procedures to include physical examinations, health assessments, diagnostic imaging (x-ray and non-ionizing methods), electrodiagnostic testing, manipulation under anesthesia, and clinical laboratory testing methods approved by the department

Allows licensed chiropractors with appropriate postdoctoral or continuing education certification to provide nutritional counseling and dispense food concentrates, vitamins, minerals, nutraceuticals, and other nutritional supplements

Increases preprofessional education requirement from two years to three years (90 semester hours) of college study prior to entering a chiropractic program

Restructures the State Board for Chiropractic to consist of at least eight members including seven licensed chiropractors (with five years minimum experience) and one public member, replacing the previous requirement for physicians and an educator on the board
