Transfers all duties, functions, and powers of the regional state park police from the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to the Division of State Police

Requires transferred employees to successfully complete a background investigation within 90 days to be appointed to the Division of State Police; those who fail will be placed on a preferred re-employment list with the state

Guarantees transferred employees will not suffer salary reductions and will retain credit for accrued annual, sick, and personal leave up to the division's maximum limits

Allows employees with at least four years of permanent service to compete in the next sergeant promotional examination without meeting the standard three-year member service or one-year probationary training requirements

Transfers all facilities, vehicles, records, equipment, appropriations, assets, and liabilities from the regional state park police to the Division of State Police
