Authorizes the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County to amend a conservation easement on approximately 62 acres of land in Yaphank to allow rail access

Removes 2.99 acres from the existing conservation easement to permit construction of rail access near the Long Island Railroad corridor

Requires the town to add 6.13 acres of new land to the conservation easement as a condition of the amendment, resulting in a net gain of protected land

The added land must be used to conserve, preserve, and protect environmental assets, natural resources, open space, and forest lands

The easement is held under Section 247 of the General Municipal Law and Title 3 of Article 49 of the Environmental Conservation Law
