Establishes the Mental Health Housing Evaluation Task Force for Aging in Place within the Office of Mental Health to develop solutions for residents of community-based mental health housing programs to age in place while receiving adequate care

Task force will identify policy, regulatory, and procedural changes needed to allow mental health housing residents to receive both mental health and medical care, including hiring nurses and health home aides

Requires development of an action plan for ADA compliance in residences, staff training on elderly care needs, and transportation assistance protocols for medical appointments

Consists of 9 members appointed by the governor (3), legislative leaders (4), and minority leaders (2), including representatives from advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, mental health professionals, and housing program directors

Members must be appointed within 60 days of enactment, meet at least 3 times, and submit a report with recommendations to the governor and legislature within 12 months; task force expires 30 days after report submission
