New York resident naval militia members activated by the governor would receive state reimbursement for health insurance premiums, including individual, group, or TRICARE policies

Reimbursement calculated at one-thirtieth of the monthly premium for each day of active service

State is not responsible for procuring health insurance policies on behalf of militia members

Reimbursement only covers premiums not already paid or reimbursed by another governmental entity; members who decline health insurance receive no direct payment

Adjutant general, in consultation with the state comptroller, would establish rules and regulations to implement the program
