Amends Section 24 of Article 6 of the New York State Constitution to allow impeachment proceedings to continue against a public official even after they have resigned from office

Permits the court for the trial of impeachments to render judgment of disqualification from holding future public office against officials who resign before final judgment is rendered

Maintains existing impeachment structure requiring majority vote of all Assembly members to impeach and two-thirds concurrence of the impeachment court for conviction

Updates gendered language in the constitution by replacing "his or her" and "him or her" with "such judicial officer's" and "such judicial officer"

Requires the amendment to be referred to the next legislative session following a general election and published for 3 months prior to that election, per constitutional amendment procedures
