Requires all buses, omnibuses, and commercial trucks operating on New York public highways to be equipped with commercial GPS devices

GPS devices must allow input of vehicle dimensions including length, width, height, and weight

GPS devices must provide route directions accounting for commercial truck restrictions such as bridge heights, clearances, load limits, one-way designations, and turn restrictions

GPS devices must be maintained in good operating condition and mounted in a readily accessible location

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law, with immediate authorization for agencies to develop implementing regulations
