Adds licensed creative arts therapists to the list of providers authorized to bill Medicaid directly for their services, alongside mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists

Creative arts therapists must be licensed under Article 163 of the education law and acting within their scope of practice

Services must be of a type that would otherwise be covered under Medicaid

Does not modify or expand the scope of practice for creative arts therapists

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
