Covered diagnostic procedures include pelvic exams, ultrasounds, lab tests, MRI, hysterosonography, hysterosalpingography, and hysteroscopy

Covered treatments include medication, noninvasive procedures, uterine artery embolization, radiofrequency ablation, various types of myomectomy (laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, abdominal), endometrial ablation, and hysterectomy

Applies to individual accident and health insurance policies, group/blanket policies, and coverage from medical expense indemnity corporations, hospital service corporations, and health service corporations

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law, with treatments required to be recommended by a New York-licensed health care provider
