Courts must suspend a person's driver's license and may suspend their motor vehicle registration upon conviction for operating a vessel while intoxicated (boating under the influence of alcohol or drugs)

The suspension follows the same procedures established under Vehicle and Traffic Law section 1193(2) for DWI offenses

Individuals subject to this suspension may apply for conditional or restricted driving privileges after a mandatory revocation period of at least three years, subject to rules established by the commissioner

Amends the Navigation Law (section 49-a) and Vehicle and Traffic Law (section 1193) to link boating intoxication convictions to motor vehicle license consequences
