Requires public secondary schools to offer hunting, fishing, and outdoor education instruction as part of physical education courses when requested by 10 or more students

Mandates the Department of Environmental Conservation to disseminate information on hunting, fishing, and outdoor education to promote instruction in grades 9-12

Curriculum must cover hunting and fishing seasons, species that can be legally sought, licensing requirements, outdoor recreation opportunities, and the history and benefits of hunting and fishing in New York's development

Instruction must be consistent with courses required by DEC for hunting and fishing license applicants

Requires the Education Commissioner and DEC Commissioner to jointly establish the curriculum, with the act taking effect July 1 following enactment
