Creates a new Office of Native American Affairs within the executive department, headed by a commissioner appointed by the governor who serves at the governor's pleasure

Commissioner will set salaries, hire staff, and manage operations within budgeted appropriations

Office will serve as a centralized resource for Native American nations to access information about state programs available to them

Establishes responsibilities including developing cooperative relationships between Native nations, Native organizations, Native American citizens, and the state

Office will advise state agencies on Native American policies and serve as a connector between Native nations and other state agencies and programs

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law
