Applies to individual health insurance policies, group/blanket policies, and contracts providing medical or comprehensive coverage

Maintains existing contraceptive coverage requirements including all FDA-approved contraceptive drugs, devices, and products without cost-sharing, up to 12-month supply dispensing, and emergency contraception coverage

Updates gendered language from "his or her" to "their" throughout the amended insurance law sections

Takes effect immediately and applies to policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended after the effective date
