Grants Eileen Saumell, currently employed at West Babylon school district, retroactive service credit in the New York State Teachers' Retirement System for her employment with Nassau County Demonstration Project from August 8, 1994 to August 27, 2004

During that period, Saumell worked for a non-participating employer and was enrolled in the United Jewish Appeal-Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York, Inc. Retirement Plan instead of a public retirement system

Requires Saumell to forfeit any pension benefits and contributions from the UJA-Federation retirement plan to receive the state teachers' retirement credit

All past service costs, estimated at $454,000, would be borne by Nassau County

Application must be filed with the teachers' retirement system within one year of the act's effective date
