Requires reimbursement of actual childcare and dependent care expenses for volunteer members of public bodies while performing their duties, including attending regular or special meetings

Volunteer members must submit documentation of care expenses to the appropriate public officer or the municipality/political subdivision that oversees the public body

Amends the Public Officers Law to explicitly include childcare and dependent care expenses as reimbursable costs for public officers who receive no compensation for their services

Takes effect immediately upon passage
