Amends Vehicle and Traffic Law section 1104 to add a new provision for authorized emergency vehicles

Authorizes emergency vehicle operators to "operate an authorized emergency vehicle in any manner necessary to engage in an emergency operation"

Expands existing exemptions that already allow emergency vehicles to disregard speed limits, traffic signals, stop signs, and directional regulations

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
