Eliminates the requirement for the state to contract with transportation management brokers to manage non-emergency medical transportation for Medicaid beneficiaries on a statewide or regional basis

Removes provisions established in 2020 law that would have required competitive bidding for broker selection, broker oversight procedures, quality monitoring, and conflict of interest compliance

Deletes requirements for transportation management brokers to establish provider networks, prior approval processes, claim payment systems, and performance reporting

Removes provisions transferring transportation services for managed long-term care plan enrollees to transportation management brokers

Requires Medicaid-enrolled transportation providers to report costs of providing services to beneficiaries, eliminating the exemption that applied when a broker contract existed
