Applies to Juh's employment as a registered nurse at Adirondack Correctional Facility, where she worked part-time from September 16, 2010 to December 16, 2012, then full-time with the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision until December 31, 2021

Requires Juh to file a written request with the State Comptroller within 6 months of the act's effective date to receive the retroactive membership

Prohibits any refund of employee contributions Juh previously made to the retirement system

State of New York will pay the estimated $17,000 one-time past service cost to implement the tier change and recalculate retirement benefits retroactively
