Authorizes Olivia Rae Salta to file a service retirement application and joint allowance full option election form with the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System on behalf of her mother, Dawn Jimenez-Salta, who died from trauma on October 20, 2024 before filing for retirement

Sets the deemed retirement date as October 19, 2024, one day prior to Dawn Jimenez-Salta's death

Requires the application to be submitted to the State Comptroller within one year of the act's effective date

Waives rights to pre-retirement ordinary death benefits under Section 448 of the Retirement and Social Security Law once the new application is filed, with any previously paid death benefits deducted from the service retirement benefit

Imposes an estimated one-time cost of approximately $1,000,000 to be paid by the State of New York
