Extends the Department of Environmental Conservation's regulatory authority over oysters (Family Ostreidae) from December 31, 2025 to December 31, 2027

Maintains DEC's power to set oyster management regulations including size limits, catch and possession limits, open and closed seasons, and closed areas

Continues DEC authority to regulate manner of taking and landing, permit requirements, recordkeeping, identification requirements, and fishing effort and gear restrictions

Preserves requirements that any DEC oyster regulations must be no less restrictive than existing statutory requirements in the Environmental Conservation Law

Takes effect immediately upon passage
