Authorizes the Department of Transportation to establish a New York State autonomous vehicle task force to study self-driving vehicle usage on state roads

Task force will consist of 10 members appointed by the governor (2), senate temporary president (2), assembly speaker (2), senate minority leader (1), assembly minority leader (1), and DOT commissioner (2)

Task force responsibilities include studying current autonomous vehicle usage, comparing usage across different regions within New York, and comparing state data with other states

Requires collaboration with state and New York City agencies, including the Department of Motor Vehicles and NYC Department of Transportation

Report with findings, conclusions, recommendations, and legislative/regulatory proposals must be submitted to the governor and legislature by January 1, 2027
