Increases disability benefits from approximately 33-50% of Final Average Salary (ordinary disability) to 75% of FAS (performance of duty disability)

Increases death benefits to a lifetime payment of 50% of final year wages plus potential Special Accidental Death Benefit

Estimated cost of approximately $2.5 million present value per incident, with employer contributions increasing by $299,000 annually per case, allocated entirely to New York City
