Expands annual financial disclosure filing requirements to include members of regional economic development councils, even if they serve as volunteers

Amends Public Officers Law section 73-a to add regional economic development council members to the existing list of officials required to file disclosures

Current law already requires disclosure filings from statewide elected officials, state officers/employees, legislators, legislative employees, political party chairs, and candidates for statewide office or legislature

Takes effect on the first of June following enactment
