Provides disability pension equal to 75% of final average salary for qualifying deputy sheriffs, compared to the current ordinary disability benefit of approximately 33% of final average salary

Excludes workers' compensation and labor law claims from the presumption

Estimated to increase New York City employer contributions by $55,000 per disability incident and $187,000 per death incident annually, with costs potentially reaching over $4 million annually after 25 years if one incident occurs per year
