Defines CPR according to the existing definition in Public Health Law section 2994-a

Defines the Heimlich maneuver as a first-aid procedure using sudden strong abdominal pressure between the navel and rib cage to dislodge airway obstructions

Takes effect on July 1 following enactment, with immediate authorization to develop necessary rules and regulations for implementation
