Clarifies that nurses cannot be required to work mandatory overtime beyond their scheduled home care visits, consistent with existing protections for hospital-based nurses

Protects licensed practical nurses and registered professional nurses from professional discipline for refusing overtime in home care settings, specifying such refusal does not constitute patient abandonment

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
