Requires parents of students with seizure disorders to provide schools with a seizure action plan developed by the student's health care provider, which must be updated annually and distributed to school employees responsible for the student's supervision

Mandates that parents provide written authorization, physician orders detailing medication information (name, dosage, route, frequency, circumstances), and sealed prescription medication before schools can administer seizure rescue medications

Requires all public school districts to provide biennial training to principals, teachers, guidance counselors, bus drivers, bus attendants, and classroom aides on recognizing seizure symptoms and appropriate response steps

Directs the Commissioner of Education to develop a seizure awareness program for students in grades K-12 in consultation with nationally recognized epilepsy organizations

Authorizes school districts to have licensed nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians train unlicensed school personnel to administer seizure rescue medication or vagus nerve stimulator treatment in emergencies

Provides liability protection for school employees acting in good faith under these provisions, excluding willful misconduct, gross negligence, or recklessness
