Mandates insurance coverage for cancer treatment for retired volunteer firefighters, including diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, and prevention costs

Defines "retired volunteer firefighter" as someone who served at least 25 years in a duly organized volunteer fire company or department, with service calculated cumulatively across multiple stations

Applies retroactively to currently retired volunteer firefighters and counts years of service already accumulated by current volunteers upon the law's effective date

Takes effect immediately and applies to insurance policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended after that date
