Electronic lease documents would have the same legal force and effect as paper originals

Applies to any lease or rental agreement entry or renewal, overriding contrary service or delivery requirements in other laws

Excludes service of process and predicate notices in judicial proceedings from the electronic option

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
