Creates a presumption that heart disease causing disability or death for NYPD Traffic Enforcement Agents I and II was incurred in the line of duty, if no evidence of the condition existed at their entry physical examination

Provides affected members with a disability pension equal to 75% of final average salary, compared to the current ordinary disability benefit of approximately 1/3 of final average salary

Applies to approximately 2,430 active members in the NYC Employees' Retirement System (NYCERS), with an average age of 46.3 years and average salary of $55,000

Requires New York City to bear all past service costs, with estimated employer contribution increases of $39,000 per disability incident and $26,000 per death incident annually

Exempts these provisions from workers' compensation law and labor law purposes, and takes effect immediately upon enactment
