Extends New York State paid family leave benefits to members of the New York Army National Guard and New York Air National Guard

National Guard members become eligible for family leave benefits after being enlisted, appointed, or commissioned for 26 or more consecutive weeks

Guard members who return from an agreed unpaid leave of absence or vacation after serving at least 26 of the prior 39 weeks become immediately eligible for family leave benefits upon return

Amends Section 203 of the workers' compensation law to include National Guard service alongside traditional employment for paid family leave eligibility purposes
