Requires pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) to adjust maximum allowable cost pricing when a drug is not available below the pharmacy's acquisition cost from their primary wholesaler

Mandates that pharmacies be permitted to reverse and rebill claims when the PBM cannot identify a therapeutically equivalent drug at or below the previously challenged maximum allowable cost

Prohibits PBMs from reimbursing pharmacies less than what they reimburse their own affiliated pharmacies for the same pharmacist services

Requires reimbursement comparisons to be calculated on a per unit basis using the same generic product identifier or generic code number

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
