Expands New York's paid sick leave law to allow employees to use accrued sick leave for preparation or participation in any judicial or administrative immigration proceeding involving themselves or a family member

Prohibits employers from requiring disclosure of confidential information relating to immigration proceedings as a condition of granting sick leave

Defines "family member" to include child, spouse, domestic partner, parent, sibling, grandchild, grandparent, and in-laws

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law, with immediate authorization for agencies to develop implementing regulations
