Increases the maximum loan repayment award for primary care physicians practicing in underserved areas from $150,000 to $250,000 over a five-year commitment period

Raises the annual award cap for the three-year physician loan repayment program from $40,000 to $83,333 per year (total $250,000)

Establishes a separate annual cap of $66,666 per year for the three-year physician practice support program (total $200,000)

Requires physicians to commit to practicing in designated underserved areas for either three or five years depending on the program

Applies to physicians in primary care or other specialties determined by the commissioner to be in short supply in New York State
