Mandates the Department of Health develop clinical criteria for coverage within 180 days of the law's effective date and streamline prior authorization processes

Requires annual legislative reports on medication utilization, costs, and measurable health outcomes, as well as evaluation of potential Medicaid cost savings

Coverage applies to currently approved GLP-1 medications and automatically extends to future FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonist medications
