Requires coroners and deputies to register triennially with their county, attest to completing required education, maintain compliance records for seven years, and file attestations with the county clerk

Bars non-compliant coroners and deputies from practicing, though counties may grant temporary waivers for active military duty or other good cause for up to one year

Extends the effective date of the underlying 2025 continuing education law from 180 days to one year after enactment
