Grants retroactive Tier IV membership in the New York State and Local Employees' Retirement System to Philip Apruzzese, effective from his original employment start date of June 25, 2001 with the Town of Yorktown

Apruzzese is currently a Tier 5 member who through no fault of his own was not enrolled in the retirement system when first eligible

Requires the Town of Yorktown to pay a one-time past service cost of $147,000, with payment assumed by February 1, 2027

Increases the Department of Law's annual contributions by approximately $4,600 beginning fiscal year ending 2027

Application must be filed within one year of the act's effective date, and Apruzzese will not receive a refund of any employee contributions already made
