Removes waived tests from the certificate of registration system that currently applies to provider-performed microscopy procedures

Maintains existing registration requirements, including the $200 biennial fee and compliance standards, for provider-performed microscopy procedures only

Preserves the commissioner's authority to prohibit specific provider-performed microscopy procedures if they create risk of harm to patients

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law
