Allows Tier 2 members of the New York City Police Pension Fund to purchase or transfer service credit for prior work as an assistant district attorney in NYC counties or as an examining attorney for the NYC Commission to Combat Police Corruption

Prior attorney service would count as uniformed police service for determining eligibility and benefit amounts, rather than being credited at the reduced civilian service rate (75% of 1/60th per year)

Members must pay or transfer all member contributions plus 5% annual interest to receive credit; transferring members lose all credited service in the NYC Employees' Retirement System

Fiscal impact shows initial employer contribution increases of $333,000 (2027) and $308,000 (2028), followed by decreasing contributions through 2040, with total unfunded accrued liability increase of $622,000

Currently identified to affect one Tier 2 member with approximately 10 years of eligible attorney service and 11 years of uniformed service
