Eliminates the requirement that insurance agents and brokers include an insurer's full name and principal office location in all advertisements, signs, pamphlets, circulars, and cards

Retains existing prohibitions against insurance producers advertising the financial condition of insurers without meeting statutory requirements or promoting unauthorized insurers

Makes technical corrections to Insurance Law sections 1101 and 2117, updating cross-references from "paragraph two of subsection (a)" to "subsection (b)" of section 2122

Maintains protections requiring unauthorized insurers operating in New York to prominently disclose their unlicensed status in 10-point type or larger on documents indicating in-state locations

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
