Founded in 1973 by the Zeta Zeta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. to provide recreational, educational, and cultural programs for older adults in Cambria Heights

Acquired a permanent facility at Linden Boulevard and 220th Street in December 1996, with official operations beginning at the new site in November 2006

Provides daily nutritious meals, educational workshops, recreational activities, health education, and wellness programs to help seniors maintain independence and quality of life

Partners with City, State, and private agencies including the Fire Department, Police Department, Department of Health, and Social Security Administration to deliver services
