Commemorates the 81st Anniversary of the D-Day Invasion (Operation Overlord) on June 6, 2025, recognizing the Allied assault at Normandy, France

Honors the approximately 132,600 members of the Allied Expeditionary Force who participated, including 57,500 U.S. Armed Forces members, over 23,000 airborne troops, and more than 14,000 Allied aircraft sorties

Acknowledges the sacrifice of approximately 10,000 Allied casualties on the first day, with more than 6,000 being U.S. Armed Forces members

Notes that the Normandy Campaign liberated nearly all of France by early September 1944 and allowed Allied forces to reach German frontiers

Directs copies of the resolution be transmitted to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans and the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia
