Designates May 2025 as Lake Friendly Living month to recognize the Finger Lakes community's conservation efforts

Acknowledges that Finger Lakes provide clean drinking water for Central New York residents and are classified as protected waterbodies (Class AA(T))

Recognizes that all New York State Finger Lakes have experienced harmful algae blooms caused in part by nutrient pollution promoting algae and Cyanobacteria growth

Commends the Lake Friendly Living Coalition of the Finger Lakes for its conservation pledge programs and public education events aimed at reducing pollutants in watersheds

Directs that a copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Lake Friendly Living Coalition of the Finger Lakes
