Honors Shari McNamara Gerevics for her induction into the Rome Sports Hall of Fame on July 27, 2025

As a pitcher at Rome Catholic High School, she threw 12 no-hitters including four perfect games over three varsity seasons and led her team to the 2000 Section III Championship

Earned First-Team All-State honors, League MVP, and maintained batting averages of .463, .429, and .417 while receiving conference academic honors for three consecutive years

At Rochester Institute of Technology, she was twice named Empire 8 Player of the Year and set school records including 55 career wins, 22 shutouts, and 515 strikeouts

Earned degrees in electrical engineering and imaging science and was inducted into the RIT Sports Hall of Fame in 2013
