Multi-sport athlete at Rome Free Academy who won sectional titles in alpine skiing and softball, and set a school record with 199 saves as a field hockey goalkeeper in 1988

Earned a scholarship to Miami University (Ohio) where she set the career save percentage record (0.877) and received All-MAC Academic honors in 1993

Returned to Rome as a physical education and health teacher, coaching field hockey teams to Section III championships in 2004 and 2005

Coached varsity golf teams to sectional championships and developed sectional and New York State champions in alpine skiing
