Commemorates the 130th Anniversary of the Pawling Fire Department, established October 1, 1895, when sanctioned by the Village of Pawling with 39 volunteer members operating from two stations

Originally protected approximately one square mile using hand-drawn equipment; received its first set of protective gear in 1897 from community member John Dutcher

Currently operates out of three stations: Station 1 at 26 South Street in Pawling, Station 2 at 338 State Route 292 in Holmes, and Station 3 at 627 Quaker Hill Road in Pawling

Station 1 cornerstone was laid in 1983, marking advancement in equipment and technology for the department

Directs that an engrossed copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Pawling Fire Department in recognition of this milestone
